The Scream of the Tasburai, a book I neither wanted to put down or for it to end. An amazing sequel to Last of the Tasburai, and 2nd book in the Trilogy. Rehan Khan has delivered this continuation of the story that is both fast moving, imagination provoking and not afraid to surprise the reader. An incredibly talented writer and the 3rd book cannot come soon enough
A great fantasy read. The Tasburai series is great, I wish there were more books in it, it is the kind of fantasy that I prefer, with believable, “normal” personas and borrows just the right amount of types of names and people we know from the “real” world. The Tasburai order reminds me of the shaolin monks in a way, being a mysterious order and the Tasburai themselves showing great martial prowess. Thoroughly enjoyed this read and would recommend it to anyone looking for a new series to dig in to!
An assured sequel. The second book in a series is always hard to write. The set up in the first book is done, but it’s clear there won’t be any conclusions in this novel. However, the book still moves along at a great pace, better than the last book
The Scream of the Tasburai’ is extremely good. It succeeds not only in creating a bridgeway to the third and final book but also for living up to the success of its predecessor. In fact, it trumps it
